A Thoughtful Design Philosophy
Rooted in warmth, architectural detail, natural materials, and long-term livability, Emily's work is guided by the belief that a home should support the way people truly live. Rather than pursuing trends, each project is designed around the client's lifestyle, routines, priorities, and long-term goals.
Every layer is considered with intention—from spatial planning, architectural finishes, and lighting to furnishings, texture, and the subtle details that shape how a home feels to experience each day. The result is a home that feels personal, functional, and enduring while maintaining a quiet sense of refinement.
Before founding Emily Roose Interiors, Emily worked in media and digital content strategy, developing expertise in branding, communication, and audience experience. Combined with formal education in both interior design and marketing, this background continues to influence the studio's approach to storytelling, client experience, and the thoughtful integration of design details that create a cohesive whole.
A Thoughtful Perspective
After establishing an award-winning presence in Lake Tahoe, Emily relocated her studio to Franklin, Tennessee, bringing with her a design perspective shaped by architecture, landscape, and lifestyle across multiple regions. While the studio is now rooted in Middle Tennessee, Emily continues to accept select destination and mountain residential projects by inquiry.
A personal health journey further deepened her interest in wellness-informed design—not as a trend, but as an essential consideration in how a home supports everyday life. Materials, lighting, spatial flow, comfort, and sensory experience are considered not only for their visual impact, but for how they contribute to the overall experience of living well.
Collaborative by Nature
Successful homes are never created in isolation. Emily Roose Interiors partners closely with architects, builders, contractors, artisans, fabricators, and real estate professionals to support the pace and complexity of high-end residential projects.
Drawing from experience on both the creative and technical sides of the industry, Emily understands the importance of collaboration, coordination, and timing throughout the design and construction process. From early planning through final installation, the studio is known for creating an experience that feels organized, transparent, and thoughtfully guided—helping clients make confident decisions, avoid costly missteps, and move through complex projects with greater ease.
The result is a home that is not only beautiful, but fully considered, highly functional, and deeply connected to the people who live within it.
