Make It Mine: A Space Designed to Honor a Life Well Lived

Make It Mine — Season 6, Episode 2 | Brookdale Senior Living Belle Meade

Emily Roose Interiors was honored to be featured on Make It Mine for a heartfelt transformation at Brookdale Belle Meade, reimagining the home of resident Corrine Helman.

A lifelong giver, social worker, devoted family matriarch, and accomplished symphony violinist, Corrine’s story inspired a space designed to feel uplifting, personal, and reflective of her life and legacy.

Through a layered furnishings and styling approach, the home was refreshed with meaningful artwork, rich textures, and carefully selected details celebrating her love of music, family, and connection. Every element was considered to create an environment that feels warm, welcoming, and uniquely her own.

The experience culminated in a surprise musical tribute—bringing together family, design, and emotion in a moment that made the transformation especially meaningful.

This project reflects a core belief at Emily Roose Interiors: that great design extends beyond aesthetics. It honors the people who live within a space and creates environments that feel restorative, personal, and deeply connected to the lives unfolding within them.
