Initial phone call

We schedule an initial phone call so you get the opportunity to speak with head designer, Emily Roose. It’s a great way to get to know one another and discuss your hopes and expectations for your design project.

On our call, we will determine:

In-person meeting

Once we’ve determined we are a good fit following our phone call, we schedule an onsite, in-person meeting.

We’ll walk through the project together while thoroughly discussing your goals, needs, and dreams for your new space.

Customized showroom experience

Designing your home is a big commitment. We want to make sure you feel confident in the decisions involved in your investment.

Rather than providing you with design presentations, we take you to curated showrooms so you can tangibly experience our proposed products and materials in person.

Having the opportunity to see and touch everything for yourself helps you better understand the concept, why things go together, and envision your final result. The process is also a collaborative one, where you will have the opportunity to weigh in on the overall design direction—your opinion, taste, and style are respected and drive the overall design.

This ensures not only an efficient and productive use of your time, but a highly-personalized and enjoyable design experience.

Zoom meetings

We’ll keep in touch throughout the process over Zoom meetings to further discuss ideas and the progression of the project.

Any further samples we require will be sent directly to you, so you can experience them too.

Once we’ve approved our concept together, we’ll create the necessary 2D or 3D drawings, finish schedules, and spec sheets. We’ll also get to prepping the logistics, coordinating contractors, architects, and any other necessary teams to ensure a seamless process.

Construction

You can relax knowing that your project is in the best hands. We get it right from the get-go, avoiding any potential headaches for you along the way.

Our approach is very hands-on, functioning as the main point of contact between all parties. This is especially helpful if you live out of town—Emily can be your local “eyes and ears” to monitor your project.

Procurement

We go above and beyond in ordering your furniture, decorative lighting, fabric, and wallcoverings as soon as design decisions are finalized. .

We monitor availability, stock changes, discontinued items, and long lead times so you don’t have to worry or stress about them.

Throughout this phase, we coordinate with contractors and subcontractors so we’re prepared and ready to install everything as soon as possible.

Installation

To guarantee efficiency and the most comfortable experience for you, we schedule specific install days for your furniture and wallpaper based on the construction schedule. We coordinate the installation of everything else with the contractor and subcontractors. Our aim is to help keep the project on time and running smoothly.

We’re always adaptable and work around whatever may arise. Collaboration and flexibility are essential elements of the design process, so we can shift things in the space plan if required once we get on site.
