Custom Lighting | Bespoke Chandeliers & Statement Fixtures

Custom lighting is as integral to our projects as custom furniture—each fixture adds personality, creates atmosphere, and makes a home feel truly one-of-a-kind. Emily Roose Interiors designs bespoke lighting to elevate key moments throughout a residence, from grand exterior and interior entries to dramatic great rooms where lighting sets the tone for gathering, comfort, and architectural impact.

For the Dunsmuir Way Glam new construction home in Martis Camp, Truckee, California, we designed a striking exterior chandelier to greet guests upon arrival. This large, two-shade chandelier features rain glass on the exterior with a floating mica shade at the center—creating layered diffusion and a warm, welcoming glow at the home’s entrance.

Additional custom fixtures were created for Lake Tahoe–area homes to reinforce nature-inspired design narratives. One entry fixture—an architectural metal semi-flush—was designed to mimic branching forms, bringing an organic, sculptural element indoors. In the great room, three metal sphere pendants in varying sizes anchor the space and visually tie into the home’s metal-and-stone fireplace, creating a cohesive material story and a strong focal point.
