MAIYA DINING TABLE
Designer: Emily Roose
Maiya Dining Table | Custom 8-Foot Walnut Dining Table with Black Metal Accents
Reno, NV
The Maiya Dining Table is a custom-designed dining piece created by Emily Roose Interiors for the Chalk Ridge residence in Somersett, Reno, Nevada. Designed to balance modern sophistication with everyday livability, the table serves as a refined focal point within an open-concept dining space.
Defined by its open architectural base, the design pairs richly toned walnut with sleek black metal accents—creating a clean, contemporary contrast between warmth and structure. The open base allows light to pass through the piece while maintaining clear sightlines between adjoining spaces, reinforcing a sense of openness throughout the home.
Proportion and comfort were central to the design. The engineered base structure provides generous legroom and flexible seating placement, allowing the table to support both everyday dining and larger gatherings with ease.
The Maiya Dining Table reflects Emily Roose Interiors’ approach to custom furniture design—where material balance, spatial awareness, and sculptural simplicity come together to create pieces that enhance the experience of a space.
