Ehrman Drive | Mountain Modern Luxury Retreat
Martis Camp, Truckee, CA
Ehrman Drive is a mountain modern retreat in the exclusive Martis Camp community of Truckee, California, designed by Emily Roose Interiors as a full-service interior design project. Set among the treetops, the residence was conceived to feel as though it floats above the forest—capturing expansive mountain and valley views from nearly every space while creating a quiet, elevated retreat within the Lake Tahoe landscape.
The home balances refined design with effortless livability, offering four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, a state-of-the-art media room, dedicated home office, and expansive outdoor living areas. Throughout the residence, the design emphasizes a seamless connection between indoors and out, supporting both quiet retreat and relaxed entertaining.
Natural materials, custom craftsmanship, and layered finishes define the interiors. A 10-foot walnut dining table anchors the dining space, while floating bookcases introduce sculptural presence and functionality throughout the home. In the primary suite, a bespoke walnut-and-upholstered bed—co-designed with Keith Kelly of Kelly & Stone Architects—creates a tailored architectural focal point within the space.
Ehrman Drive reflects Emily Roose Interiors’ approach to residential design—where custom detailing, material integrity, and a strong connection to place come together to create homes that feel immersive, enduring, and deeply connected to the surrounding environment.
