Kenarden Drive is a mountain modern vacation residence in Martis Camp, Truckee, California, designed by Emily Roose Interiors as a full-service interior design project for a luxury spec home. Conceived as a turnkey retreat, the home offers a seamless, move-in-ready experience—balancing refined design with the ease of low-maintenance mountain living.

Designed for both relaxation and entertaining, the home features expansive gathering spaces, a state-of-the-art media room, and an entertainer’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry—supporting everything from casual weekends to larger family gatherings in the Lake Tahoe region.

Five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, along with a dedicated home office, mudroom, and well-appointed laundry room, provide a thoughtful balance between everyday functionality and elevated design.

Expansive upper and lower decks extend the living experience outdoors, capturing panoramic mountain and treetop views—creating spaces designed for connection, relaxation, and year-round enjoyment.

Kenarden Drive reflects Emily Roose Interiors’ approach to luxury residential design—where thoughtful planning, cohesive detailing, and a strong understanding of lifestyle come together to create a home that feels both elevated and effortless.
