Kenarden Drive is a mountain modern vacation residence in Martis Camp, Truckee, California, designed by Emily Roose Interiors as a full-service interior design project for a luxury spec home. Conceived as a turnkey retreat, the home balances refined design with the ease and simplicity of low-maintenance mountain living.

Designed for both relaxed weekends and larger gatherings, the residence features expansive entertaining spaces, a state-of-the-art media room, and an entertainer’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry—creating an environment equally suited for quiet retreat and family connection in the Lake Tahoe region.

Five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, along with a dedicated home office, mudroom, and well-appointed laundry room, provide a strong balance between functionality and elevated everyday living.

Expansive upper and lower decks extend the experience outdoors, capturing panoramic mountain and treetop views while creating spaces designed for relaxation, connection, and year-round enjoyment.

Kenarden Drive reflects Emily Roose Interiors’ approach to residential design—where thoughtful planning, cohesive detailing, and a strong understanding of lifestyle come together to create homes that feel effortless, welcoming, and deeply livable.
