Snowshoe Thompson is a luxurious traditional mountain new construction home in the prestigious gated community of Lahontan in Truckee, California. Situated on the edge of a serene meadow, the residence was designed to capture sweeping views of the Tahoe mountain range, Martis Valley, and the surrounding landscape—delivering a timeless mountain retreat with an elevated, livable feel.

Inside, soaring ceilings and exposed rustic wood beams create a grand yet welcoming atmosphere. The home includes four spacious bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, offering ample space for family and guests. A dedicated home office features a custom-designed desk and built-in storage cabinetry by Emily Roose Interiors, blending everyday function with bespoke craftsmanship.

Thoughtful planning supports effortless mountain living with a well-appointed laundry room, a practical mudroom, and generous outdoor spaces ideal for entertaining or simply enjoying the natural setting. Traditional stone, rich wood flooring and cabinetry, natural granite countertops, and elegant tilework were carefully selected to honor classic mountain style while delivering modern luxury.
